My new everyday life
Coronavirus was making everyone's life change, small and unseen but makes a person scared to death. I don't know how to explain it scientifically but its impacts on all of us humans are overwhelming in almost every aspect of our daily life.
The moment I actually hear the news about the virus in Wuhan China around February, I was skeptical and feared already that's why when I go to Oslo to renew my passport last winter vacation I was very paranoid to protect myself knowing that I would be exposed to the virus. I was traveling alone and choose my seat carefully to ensure there is no seating beside me during my travel on the train and in the airplane and also I used my scarf as a protective mask and I used winter gloves too. I was so shocked when I got home because that day Norway have the first man infected with the coronavirus. Then after two weeks, Norway has 400+ people who are infected already then a day after became 600+, my husband and I were panicked already. I actually thinking of my son who lives in Bergen. It's good that the government imposed a total school lockdown and my children have to be home for two weeks.
My everyday routine is to be at home mom, ensuring that my children will be waking up around 8 am to attend the online class as per school rules. I make sure I prepare breakfast or snacks in between the online classes of my children. During their online classes, my husband and I take our usual breakfast and watching the news on TV. After that, I do my daily household chores such as washing clothes and cleaning. When my husband goes to work at around noon, my children and I took our lunch or light snacks. After taking our lunch we usually have a physical exercise such as dancing on the Xbox games called Just Dance. We were having a good time doing that and really enjoying it. After that, I am preparing our dinner and making sure we eat healthy food such as vegetables. After dinner, we usually watch a movie that we like to discuss. After watching the movie I go to my online job and school work such as this. I don't like boring days or monotonous activities sometimes we have a variety of things to do such as walking to the lake and to the seashore near our house.
At the end of the day, I always think that the coronavirus effect on people's lives is both negative and positive. Negatively because it overwhelmed us with so much fear, and on the positive side is that we as a human can think of a way to live each day and enjoy every moment with our family. And thank God for giving us a chance to live and wake up again day by day as long as He permits.
