my 40-day experiment?

my 40-day experiment?... i dunno if i can do it, it sounds so scary to me, whew... i just wanted to have courage to do this, thus doing this doesn't give me harm anyway... my question is where and how and when do i begin??? do i need to prepare for or what... i ask God for the wisdom and holy guidance...
